Day 1:

Dar es Salaam/ Selous:

Leave Dar es Salaam for Selous by road, arriving Rufiji River Camp in time for lunch. Afternoon boat safari along the mighty Rufiji River, which boasts one of the highest concentrations of hippos. Rufiji River Camp, L, D.

Day 2:

After breakfast, game drive in Selous, with an opportunity to see Elephant, rhino, buffalo, wildebeest, giraffe, zebra leopard and lion. Also, about 350 species of birdlife can be spotted here. Rufiji River Camp, B, L, D.

Day 3:

Selous:

Today, after breakfast, we will have walking safari, followed by afternoon boat safari along the mighty Rufiji River. Rufiji River Camp, B, L, D.

Day 4:

Selous:

Today, after breakfast, we will have morning game drive, followed by afternoon boat safari along the mighty Rufiji River. Rufiji River Camp, B, L, D.

Day 5:

After breakfast, we leave Selous for Mikumi National Park with game drive en route. Vuma Hill Tented Camp, B, L, D.

Day 6:

After breakfast, we drive to Ruaha with a lunch stop in Iringa. Late afternoon game drive in Ruaha National Park. Some of the animals which can be found in the park include: Waterbuck, buffalo, zebra, jackal, lion, and spotted hyena. Ruaha River Lodge, B, L, D.

Day 7:

Morning and afternoon game drive in Ruaha Park. Ruaha River Lodge, B, L, D.

Day 8:

Ruaha/ Mikumi:

Morning game drive in Ruaha as we drive to Mikumi. Vuma Hill, B, L, D.

Day 9:

Mikumi/ Dar:

Morning game drive in Mikumi, then drive to Dar es Salaam.
